J-Song

Upon entering high school, J-song possessed a vast appreciation for all kinds of music and would often sing to himself and for friends in class and during break; he would write poetry for himself and for friends who wanted to impress a special person. People noticed that J-song loved music, especially R&B and always gave him praise for his talents. During the first semester of college, J-song fell in love with the industry and business of music and began doing research on establishing a place in the business as a musician. J-song would invest in magazines geared toward the business (Vibe, XXL, Source, and Billboard) as well as other readings such as, Everything You Need to Know About the Music Business. Shortly after starting college, J-song invested in a production keyboard to create his own songs. He quickly found that he had a talent for creating original music and began rethinking his place in music as not just an artist, but a music producer and writer.
